This is the ideal process for removing problem contamination from complex and intricate cavities and holes found on hard surfaces of metals, plastics and ceramics. Ultrasonic sound waves are used to vibrate a liquid in which the item to be cleaned is placed. This ultrasonic action produced in the liquid, induces the formation of millions of tiny bubbles that implode on themselves (cavitation) and it’s this action that lifts the engrained fouling from the component surface.

All components should be degreased and as clean as possible when received please. Should heavily soiled components be received, there may be an additional charge for cleaning before blasting.
BMB will notify the customer of any damage found to items during a pre-blasting visual check, and of any damage found after blasting.
If you’re not sure which cleaning process would suit your needs, contact our sales department for assistance via telephone (01461 700578) or filling our contact form and we can help.
